Here's Nolan posing in his school gear. I can't decide who was more excited today for Nolan's first day of school, me or Nolan! I managed to run back home today over my lunch hour to pick Nolan and his friend Ryan up to take them to their first day of preschool. They were waiting at the door with their shoes and backpacks on. When we got to school, I had enough time to take a couple of pictures and than Nolan was on his way. He dropped his backpack, quickly gave me a hug and kiss and sat down with the rest of the kids to play with the play-dough. I kept looking behind to see if he needed one last hug, but there was no looking back on his part. Both of his teachers said he had a great day. Funny thing though, Nolan couldn't recall much of what he did at school. His list was something like this..."I didn't get to play on the big castle (the large playground there), and I sang a song about names." I'm pretty sure there was more to his day, but not sure what it entailed!
